It’s 2026, and if you’re anything like me, the new year’s resolutions have already begun - or finished!
One resolution that I’m very keen to stick to is to attend even more industry events. Shows, conferences and networking spaces are where real connections are formed, where the big conversations take place, and where colleagues turn into friends.
There are a whole bunch of UK tech events coming up in 2026, but trying to attend every event can be overwhelming, not to mention time-consuming. Selecting the right ones often comes down to networking opportunities, brand exposure and ensuring it’s the right audience to connect with. So what are the events you should absolutely be adding to your calendar?
As well as being the official PR partner for both Tech Show London and Technology for Marketing, Propeller is well-versed in creating events that spark conversation and connect industry pros.
Using our events knowledge and tech experience, we’ve listed out the biggest UK tech shows taking place in the first half of 2026 and why you should be attending.
1. TechEx Global - 4-5 February, Olympia, London
Kicking off 2026 is TechEx Global, an event aimed at CIOs, CTOs, IT Directors and solution providers across the private enterprise, public sector, and wider technology ecosystem.
TechEx is actually seven events under one roof, with focuses spread across AI and Big Data, cybersecurity, IoT, edge computing, digital transformation, data centres and automation.
Designed to help technology leaders understand what’s changing, what matters and what to prioritise next, the show is the perfect start to the 2026 tech events calendar.
2. Tech Show London - 4-5 March, ExCeL London
Returning to the ExCeL, Tech Show London brings together some of the UK’s leading tech minds to explore the latest trends, challenges and developments across AI, cloud, Big Data, data centres, and DevOps.
Hosting five tech exhibitions with just one ticket, the event boasts some of the biggest headline speakers on the UK’s tech events circuit, including award-winning producer and presenter, Louis Theroux, mathematician and broadcaster, Hannah Fry, and Baroness Martha Lane Fox, cross-bench peer and co-founder of lastminute.com.
As the official PR partner for the show, Propeller will be inviting journalists down to the event to cover some of the biggest conversations taking place in technology this year. From panel sessions and fireside chats to interviews and podcasts, the event offers unrivalled exposure opportunities.
3. UK Tech Week - 16-20 March, UK-wide
Whether you’re an experienced fintech or fresh out of uni looking for your next move, there’s something for everyone at UK Tech Week.
Spread across the week, the event brings together some of the nation’s very best digital talent and technology innovators. Designed to spark collaboration across industries, the events track is perfect for people looking to connect, network and work together with like-minded people within the UK tech sector.
The event has created a vast tech ecosystem, helping bridge the gap between regions, industries and sectors. 4. Manchester Tech Week (DTX/UCX Manchester) - 27 April-1 May, Manchester Central
Billed as the North’s largest gathering of tech professionals, Manchester Tech Week offers a range of events catered to the UK’s tech community. From meetups to exhibitions, pitch meetings to parties, Manchester’s headline tech show aims to bring people together to share ideas, tools and strategies that are shaping the future.
2025’s tech week was Manchester’s biggest to date, featuring events on digital transformation, the digital workplace, customer experience, cybersecurity, diversity and digital inclusion, and the latest advancements in AI.
Two flagship events take place during the week - Digital Transformation Expo (DTX) and Unified Communications Expo (UCX). Both events offer expert talks, live demos, interactive panel sessions and networking opportunities, making them a must-attend for anyone interested in expanding their connections and sharing ideas.
5. London Tech Week 2026 - 8-12 June, Olympia, London
London Tech Week is one of the UK’s premier destinations for tech professionals. As Europe’s leading technology festivals, the track has a big focus on innovation, collaboration and growth, aiming to bring together some of the brightest minds across the world to discuss and shape the future of business.
2026’s event will feature six stages split across Enterprise and Startups, showcasing everything from business AI strategies to the next generation of visionary founders. Key themes for this year’s London Tech Week include responsible AI, the future of quantum computing, and the UK’s/Europe’s place at the centre of global tech innovation.
While the main event is free to attend at the Olympia in London, there are several fringe events hosted during the week that cater towards smaller tech communities for people to get involved with. So, whether you currently sit in the tech ecosystem or just looking to get started, there are plenty of ways to make London Tech Week a successful event.
